Oh, and I love that Angel liked that particular ep of the Dick Van Dyke show with Danny Kaye. I'm imagining he met them both -- it really fits into later depictions of Angel as knocking around Hollywood and Vegas with various actors. I love that image of Angel. One of my favorite things he ever said about his pre-Buffy, post-soul years was when he told Connor he'd been to the first taping of the Carol Burnett Show. "Tim Conway was on fire!" It opens up this whole lighter, more complex backstory than the skulking-in-the-shadows Angel I often see.
