What a great comment. I have so much fun trying to get inside Spike's head. I have to keep double checking my Britishisms, but it's totally worth it if his voice works.
Spike's entire wrongheaded pursuit had me grinning and the fun never let up. Yes, Spike is evil and demonic and all, but he's also romantic and funny in canon, so I felt free to make him romantic and funny here.
