Oh, Al! You know I love you already, right? This is wonderful!

The subtitles for the slayer classes! Xander giving age-old parental speeches - "Why, in my day, we had to fight vampires uphill, in the mystically-created snow, in really torturous designer heels! ...well, I didn't, but Buffy did, and did you hear her complaining? No." - ! Bitterness over the spelling Bee! Aw, you just paint this gorgeously complete picture of Slayer Central and the unusual-but-home-y pattern that their lives have fit into.

Like the others, I am profoundly amused by how Connor echoes Angel is this, and how you've made him a bit more... creepy? And compelling. Xander is a savvy, savvy guy, and yet still making reference to how tasty and delicious his blood is, which is just... so Xander.

The line about window-shopping for grace deserves its own mention. It's not showy so I'm not sure how it resonates for your other readers, but I *really* like it.

Hee at the spanking line. Love for the bouncing being either readiness or needing to go potty - again, I always adore your Xander voice. And awww at Connor's complicated memories/emotions but still being proud that he's Angel's son.

Can I just state for the record that I'm incredibly amused at Angel singing along with the Muppets after his little puppet-becoming catastrophe? And then you give us Lorne cameo's and Connor's pretty, pretty mouth and hair-flipping and Xander being used to a more direct approach from men... I'll take those over the ice cream any day.

I'm meh at the supermarket-line bit... I think just a joke I've heard too often. And yet the Song That Never Ends cracks me up, esp with the Lambchop bit... aww, poor Lorne! And hee for a little bit of support for your title, though I know that mostly references the Harvest bit repeating. Still, one annoying song that gets in your head is much like another!

Loitering, because it's hard to get a date with your stalker! And feeding the ducks together is *so* a date :D And Connor being so cute and obviously pleased when Xander calls him a handsome scoundrel! Ack, I may be running out of exclamation points, and possibly space... better be careful.

You do a lovely job of reviewing what the Harvest *is*, for those that don't know or may have forgotten the details... clean and not bogged down at all for those who already know. The descriptions of Connor and his fighting are really vivid, and I love that Xander has the luxury of just hanging back and watching, because he knows his girls (and *his* guy) can handle it.

Non-relationship! Reference to Buffy/Angel post-Harvest... oh, way sublte, Xan! Dwindling questions and finally that lovely, unspoken answer... aww!

In short, as always: Lovelovelove for pretty much everything here.
