You know I love you already, right? And I love you! *hugs* This was already an awesome morning, with nice comments coming in and making me smile, and then I saw your comment in my inbox. And I just lit up, because Amy!feedback is something to be cherished. And possibly gloated over.

Aw, you just paint this gorgeously complete picture of Slayer Central and the unusual-but-home-y pattern that their lives have fit into. I have a deep and abiding weakness for post-Chosen stories where Xander works with a house full of Slayers. Even though this wasn't focused on the Slayer-house, I really wanted him to be in that situation, because I think he'd be brilliant in it.

Xander is a savvy, savvy guy, and yet still making reference to how tasty and delicious his blood is, which is just... so Xander. I love how Xander can be cognizant of his danger and still a smart ass. It's one of the things that makes him fun, and not just interesting.

The line about window-shopping for grace deserves its own mention. Yay! Sometimes people pick out something to praise that I didn't think much about, but this was a line that occurred to me while I was making dinner, and I kept repeating it to myself so I wouldn't forget it.

Can I just state for the record that I'm incredibly amused at Angel singing along with the Muppets after his little puppet-becoming catastrophe? Can't you just see puppet!Angel sharing the stage with Kermit the Frog and Julie Andrews? And tackling Crazy Harry to stop him from blowing stuff up (because that's the kind of hero he is).

I'm meh at the supermarket-line bit Maybe cliche, but so damned true. I'm sure I put that in because I was finishing this story up after grocery shopping at Wal-Mart.

And feeding the ducks together is *so* a date :D Not to mention adorable. Who can resist a man with bread in his hand and ducks gathered around his feet?

I love that Xander has the luxury of just hanging back and watching, because he knows his girls (and *his* guy) can handle it. This is one of the reasons I don't like super!Xander, I think. Because I want him to be able to relax and rely on the others, to make a contribution, but not the contribution. Xander has always been part of something bigger, and I'd like him to stay that way.

oh, way sublte, Xan! Of course! He prides himself on his wiley, wiley ways.

Thank you for this wonderful review! I appreciate your time and attention so much!
