Oh, you're welcome! I'm become a wee obsessed with Xander/Riley lately, and there's a serious lack of good fic out there for them. When I stumbled upon your story (I think it was through an X/R google search), I immediately clicked on the link, but I had to save it to read later. Last month, when I was reccing all things Xander, I finally got around to reading it and was delighted!
Thank you so much for giving Riley a real voice instead of fanon wrote which for some inexplicable reason insists on painting him as either a dullard or some nebulous villain. Riley was a really nice, honest guy (who's yummy) caught up in a world he didn't really understand and was never properly explained. I didn't like him with Buffy, but I think he's wonderful with Xander, someone who is also searching for his place and is consistently undervalued.
Would you mind if I friended you? I'd just like to be able to keep up with your work. No need to friend me back, of course, but I want to ensure I don't miss further updates and new stories!
