I love the way you did Lindsey here, how he hates himself for the Stockholm syndrome, recognizes it for what it is, and can't help but feel that way and hating himself for falling for it all the while.
And I totally love the idea of Spike not being so perfectly adjusted after everything that happened to him, I always thought that would be the case as well.
Beneath the shame and the gratitude and the hate, Lindsey was glad to be pulling some of the strings again. Even if they were only steel.
