It's been heralded as Buffy Season 8, and I know there's going to be plenty of criticism that it just isn't the same as the show. But really, it has the distinctive wit we know and love, the angst and misadventure mixed with humor and bonding, the knowledge that something bad is *always* coming. I liked it. But I like comic books in general, so I was already predisposed towards it. I had to try two comic book stores before I got ahold of it, as my usual store (which has the worst customer service in the entire industry) ran out without saving me a copy. Let me know what you think when you eventually read it.
