TV and Hollyoaks

You may recall me mentioning the cost of digital cable in a bitter tone, especially in conjunction with the observation that digital cable is the only way to get BBC America in my area. Well, the cable company was offering a free trial period, so I picked up a digital cable box and got ready to revel in the new channels. And boy howdy, are there a lot of channels!
All three of us snuggled up on the couch to watch Doctor Who on Saturday, which was great. My son loves it so much that we got him a toy sonic screwdriver for Christmas. But when I scrolled through to the middle of the night programming, intent on recording Hollyoaks, I found that it is no longer on. WTF?! Watching the evolution of the John Paul and Craig storyline in actual episodes (as opposed to YouTube clips) was one of the main reasons I wanted BBC America in the first place. *grumbles* But we do get Catherine Tate, whom
roxy_palace turned me onto as a hilarious, brilliant comedienne. So yay for that.
Speaking of Hollyoaks (and if I don't do it here, I don't get to do it; no one I know IRL has even heard of the show), there are pictures up of the guy rumored to be John Paul's next love interest. I was (and remain) leery of the fact that this man is a priest, but ...

How can I object to a man that hot being paired with my lovely John Paul? I can't.
Also, I was registering people for an event in Cambridge, I laughed out loud in delight when one of the attendees was from Chester. Because that's where Hollyoaks is. *waves* Yes, I'm lame.
