Okay, so last night there was a major pre-Valentine's Day meltdown involving tears in the middle of Target. (My husband doesn't get that I don't need expensive presents. It was this whole thing.) To cheer myself up, I'm stealing this meme from rasah. Play with me, people!

4. What was I gonna do? Take away your only hope? Take away the very thing that kept you going in there? I took the liberty of bullshitting you. The Blues Brothers Win! by xanzpet. I so grew up on this movie. "We're on a mission from God."

5. I was a lesbian once at school, but only for about fifteen minutes. Four Weddings and a Funeral Win! by xanzpet. How do I have 2 Andy McDowell movies on this list? I hate her.

6. Looks like you won't be attending that hat convention in July. Hudson Hawk Win! by xanzpet and rasah. It's not what you would call a good movie, but I love it dearly.

7. At the start of the evening, I was in the hall. I know because I was there. Clue Win! by xanzpet. I knew he was going to get that one, but I couldn't resist including it.

8. Being held by you isn't quite enough to get me excited. Empire Strikes Back Win! by rasah. The best Star Wars film ever.

9. We're dead! We're dead! We survived but we're dead!

10. Dude, you've gotta have a poker face like me.Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure Win! by xanzpet. Did you know it was filmed in Tempe? There are Bill and Ted landmarks on my drive to work. :o)

I'm feeling a bit better. My husband is still down about Valentine's, which sucks. A lot. But we shall overcome!

oh good LORD, i can't believe i didn't get number 8!!! Leia!! is it from empire? i know the next line is 'sorry highness, i haven't got time for anything else...' actually, yup, that is empire isn't it?

hudson hawk - i love that film! and, bizarrely, i've had 'swinging on a star' in me head all day...

Gah, I have no Star Wars icons! Yes, it was Empire. I love that whole bit in the Falcon, with the flirting and the dirty hands and the "You like me because I'm a scoundrel." *sigh*

I love Hudson Hawk so much! Once in a while I put it in and just watch Swinging on a Star and Side by Side.

I am so psyched that both you and rasah got Hudson Hawk. Sometimes I feel like the only person on earth who has seen that movie.

Probably a bit of both, although I do seem to possess the ability of recalling all things non-important. *pats self on back* I can also memorize ridiculous amounts of dialogue - probably because I have nothing else to do.

The Blues Brothers just bores me to tears, and I dislike both Ackroyd and Belushi. The movie's on so much, though, that I've seen it several times, though never all in one sitting.
