I've been flocking an awful lot of my posts, lately, so I thought I ought to make it official. One of the two people IRL that I've told about my fic and stuff started randomly telling her sister-in-law-to-be about how I write slash fiction. At a party, where not only the sister-in-law (whom I know only casually), but also other party goers could hear. It made me feel weird and exposed, and I started worrying about people from work finding my fic. I mean, there aren't that many Xander/Harry Potter stories out there. And my own sister-in-law has an lj, and I kind of live in fear of her finding mine.

My old posts are still open, but I've been locking new ones, just so I don't feel like people are looking over my shoulder and judging me. I might go back and lock old ones about my life. I mean, I don't have any problem with people reading my fic. I have a problem with them connecting it to me in contexts where I'm unprepared to deal with the consequences. It's not so much a new development as an announcement of what I've been doing for a while.

Hmm. I'm not sure how indicative my profile is of my interests. I wrote it in a moment of extreme silliness and decided I liked it so it stayed.

But I adore your fic, especially "Folded in Your Heart." I'll have to look into these Xander/Harry ones. I love that pairing and it's so rare.

Hello! I'm a friendly person. Can I be friended? I can't promise my journal is the most interesting place on the planet (Unless I've had cold meds and then I come up with things like Star Trek/Smurfs xovers) but since I've started writing it's gotten less boring. :)
